Job Duties:

• Plan the best approach to:
  • to reduce the number of existing test cases (For the current available 1600 test cases)
  • Estimating time and effort involved to author detailed manual test cases which would be the base for test automation Note: There are many modules and customization levels involved in PeopleSoft HRMS applications so this estimate would be good for 1 or 2 modules.
• Plan the best approach to automate HRMS application
  • Perform feasibility study using the tools selected by customer and design the framework.
  • Identify automatable test cases
• Implement test cases through hands-on and mentoring approach with customer team members. For 100 high level test cases we will provide hands-on/mentoring for:
  • Test case authoring
  • Test data management and review

Skills Required:

Must be able to be a test lead since he/she will be working alone on this project.

The objective for this project is to get the customer’s employees assigned to test automation fully up to speed with using HP Quality Center and QTP to automate PeopleSoft HRMS testing.

The consultant must have the ability to train people in an informal, hands-on and one-on-one manner during the course of the project. The consultant must be able to fully utilize AppLabs test automation methodology and have experience with our test automation framework.
