A Software Tester is needed to join a dynamic internet driven leading financial services company. The right Software Tester will have be involved with the Functional & Regression Testing across multiple platforms raising and managing defects raised against products & systems.

With a minimum of 1 years testing experience with exposure to financial front office and\or back office applications a solid understanding of testing methodologies and their application, including: UAT, System Integration testing and test automation is essential.

The right software tester will have:

• Minimum 1 years experience working on J2EE web site
• Excellent understanding of browser technologies.
• A good understanding of Windows and Unix operating systems, navigating and searching logs files in particular
• Good understanding of MS Office, in particular MS Excel

Desirable:

• Good understanding of automated testing techniques and tool sets, e.g. WinRunner, QTP, Silk Test, Test Partner
• Good understanding of performance testing techniques and tool sets, e.g. LoadRunner, Silk Performer
• Experience working with MQ
• Experience of creating own test harnesses

The role will be working in a small team to regression test back office, middleware and front end applications and undertake the testing of new features/developments in assigned projects.
