Excellent career opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to join this well established and hugely reputable financial services organisation as a Senior Tester in which you will be responsible for leading testing activities on various projects and supporting the test manager in implementing the test strategy for a key part of their business, based at their Croydon HQ.

As the Senior Test Analyst within this varied role you will report on test progress, escalating any issues and ensuring test execution progresses using manual and automated test scripts for their various financial services products (e.g. QuickTest Pro (QTP) / WinRunner)

Your responsibilities as Test Analyst will include the production of manual test cases and test scripts complete with requirement mapping. You will contribute towards peer reviews of design documentation, test scripts, strategies and testing processes and execute test cases and retest defects where required.

In addition you will help to enhance the departments testing processes, workflows, documentation and structures, working closely with the QA Test Manager to ensure that deadlines are met, progress is accurately reported and that any issues are highlighted promptly.

You will also co-ordinate offshore test resources where appropriate, using automated testing tools - QuickTest Pro/WinRunner and scripting in Visual Basic (VB or VBA) where appropriate however extensive training is provided where necessary.

To be considered you will need relevant experience in software quality assurance combined with a background in financial services (pensions knowledge ideal).

You will have a proven ability to work on multiple projects, excellent verbal and written communication skills, client server testing experience and ideally web based testing of ASP applications and experience with TestDirector / QualityCenter.

You will also need to be proficient in SQL to query and manipulate data and have working knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle databases. ISEB or ISTQB is essential.
