On offer is an excellent base salary of ?35K - ?50K + 20% Bonus it is expected the successful applicant will have 1-2 years commercial experience since leaving University ideally spent working in a Hedge Fund, although specific Prime Broker or similar Front / Middles office software consultancy considered.

You need to have a 1st Class or 2:1 BSc in Computer Science, with 1-2 years commercial experience ideally with hands on manual and automated testing experience using HP QTP or similar. As well as day 2 day testing, you will be building automated and detailed functional test cases for a high profile and very complex front to back product suite covering comprehensive GUI, complex interface to various layers, rich interface to Risk Metrics and risk management services, DTC / SWIFT messaging and also a highly flexible and complex calculation engine.

Further down the line you will be getting involved in Pre-Sales, Proof of Concept, (POC) builds and engaging with new customers helping them understand the technology as part of your role. You must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will also be maintaining application user guides and release documents as well as communicating with customers directly.
